Relieving pain points!  Sounds like something your chiropractor should be talking about, not your cleaning contractor.  But believe it or not that is exactly what cleaning contractors do; we relieve your pain, your problems, help you get things fixed.  Now I`m an old guy and years ago, when I first had to do sales we called it problem solving.  We would figure out what our customer’s problems were, and we would help them solve those problems.  These days everyone loves “buzz words“ and pain points rather than problems is the phrase everyone uses.  No matter how you phrase it the end result is fixing something your customer has broken.

Now, every office with more than 2 people in it will have different problems, depending on the situation in each office.   Some will have the cat lady who comes in covered in cat hair each day, or the dog guy who lives with three collies that shed a ton of hair.  Of course each of those people will sit right next to the person with allergies.  Then there’s the guy who never stops eating at his desk and his garbage can always smells like three week old pizza.  Unfortunately we can`t fix those kinds of problems, we are cleaning specialists after all not HR experts.  But all those other pain points, the ones that every office or store or commercial space have in common.  Well those we can fix!

One of the major problems most customers of ours have is staff productivity.  Now I don`t mean to say that their staff doesn`t work hard or get the job done, but we live in a winter city and people are constantly getting colds and the flu.  It`s hard to meet production or rotate staff equitably when people are constantly getting ill.  Did you know that some viruses that can cause a cold are able to survive indoors on hard surfaces for up to seven days, although their ability to cause an infection quickly drops, often surviving less than 24 hours?

Most viruses which cause colds only survive on hands for a short amount of time. Some last for a few minutes but 40% of rhinoviruses, a common cold-causing virus, are still infectious on hands after one hour. Flu viruses that can be transferred to a person’s hand and cause an infection can survive on hard surfaces for 24 hours.

The Cleaning Command can sanitize all the hard surface common areas in your office, a system that will go a long way in helping to stop the spread of germs and viruses.  There are newer and better sanitizers out there that can keep hard surfaces sanitized for longer and longer.  The Cleaning Command is committed to finding and using the best natural products available.

These are just a few of the things we can do for our customers; next week I’ll address a few more “pain points”

Thanks for listening.
